Private Commissions
As an animal lover myself, I understand how important our pets are to us, they are not like family... they ARE family. That is why I love to help others remember and cherish their pets for years to come, with a lifelike portrait that can be treasured forever. If you are thinking of having your beloved pet commissioned and immortalised in a portrait, I would love to hear from you!
All of my portraits are hand drawn using your favourite photos as a reference. I approach each commission with the upmost care and attention to ensure I accurately capture the essence and likeness of your pet.

I ask for a 25% deposit to secure your portrait, with the full balance due upon completion. If you would like the portrait completed by a certain date please let me know.

Sit back and relax
I will create your portrait using the highest quality materials. I'll send you progress photos along the way so you can see your portrait come to life! When finished, I will send a photo to check you are 100% happy!

Choose portrait size
Confirm your chosen portrait size and portrait requirements. Is there anything in particular you'd like me to know?

Mounting and shipping
Upon completion the balance can be paid. I will then sign and mount your portrait ready for framing and ship to you wherever you are! You'll also receive a certificate of authenticity and care guide.
How to choose the perfect photo
To create a realistic, life-like portrait, I will require high quality photographs. I have provided a photo guide below to give you an idea of the best kind of photos to use. The photos should be high resolution and include lots of detail. The best way to photograph your pet is to take them outside in the natural, even daylight. Take a bag of treats for ultimate focus and get snap happy!
I understand that sometimes photos are limited, especially if a beloved pet has passed on. If you are in any doubt as to if your photos will be suitable, please contact me and we can discuss together.
Example of unsuitable photos

I have provided here some images that are not suitable for portraits. (Photos from the top, left to right).
Photo 1: The image is blurred, out of focus and lacks the details needed to capture realism.
Photo 2: This photo is not a true likeness of the colour of the dog. The light from the window has distorted the true colours which makes the dog look lighter.
Photo 3: This photo has red eye. Whilst there are some details, the details in the eyes cannot be captured. The eyes are the window to the soul after all!
Photo 4: The composition of the photo isn't quite right. The dog is too close to the camera. This type of composition would not translate well into a portrait.
